i'm yarrow, or at least my real name doesn't resonate with me so much and my little internet mascot is yarrow, and i tend to base my usernames on that name. i'm nonbinary (agender?), aroace and audhd, probably. i don't know what the hell my pronouns are. i don't really like having a corporeal form or having people refer to me at all, but needs must. i'm in the process of trying to become a little more myself on the outside though. people must know that i contain multitudes!!!!!

i am pretty easily overwhelmed by life's demands, and my dream is really just to carve out a comfortable corner of the earth for myself and be left to my own devices to work on the project of the moment. i got pigeonholed into being an artist from a young age and burned out after the horrors of university, but i'm finding my love for creating again. i've picked up a lot of creative outlets, like painting, writing, character design, embroidery, web design although i'm very new to it. i tend to deepdive into the most random projects too. most recently i tried to fix my old ps3, which didn't work, so then i got into emulating. i pick up a lot of random knowledge this way, so i try not to consider it a waste of time when i inevitably drop a project after a week or two.

my real passion project that i hope will span for decades is writing my little ocs. mainly two guys, howard and andy, living a mostly very boring and peaceful life in their queerplatonic partnership. they're kind of two sides of the same coin, not in a soulmates way cuz i hate that. but in how i'm kind of writing my experiences through both of them. neither of them are self-inserts, but in many ways they are both like me, in ways that one can appreciate about the other. in working through their stuff together i'm sort of mending my relationship with myself.
